Mark have travelled the globe taking photographs, from the Winter Olympics in Italy, to the mecca of skiing at Utah’s Little Cottonwood Canyon, to the isolation of Western China.
Over the years he photographed all sorts of things, but I always end up returning to cycling. One of the more beautiful and interesting sports. He was fortunate to live his passion for so many years.
Mark won the Cycling Australia Photograph of the Year for four of the eight years and had photos regularly appear throughout national and international press.
Sadly, Mark was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer in August, 2015 and died shortly after on November 29th, 2015. Mark most loved being a Dad, and was an ever present, loving, emotionally connected Dad. He left behind Lucas at 15 months.
Mark strived to get the best photographs he could, every time. His ideal was to ideal to show truth, passion and the emotion of what just happened before his eyes.
So please enjoy Mark's photos, and I hope at at least one makes a connection for you.
Cheers
Leeanne, Mark's wife
